MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
The internet and media today are filled with misinformation concerning cosmetic plastic surgery and it is sometimes very hard for prospective patients to sort out fact from fiction. Everyone is unique and oftentimes a procedure that works well for one patient may not give the desired result for another. Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Brown’s patients trust and rely on his 30 years of experience to determine what current technology and procedures will give them the safest and best results. He takes the time to listen carefully to patients' concerns and fully discuss the surgical and non-surgical options, from breast surgery, body sculpting and face lifting to cosmetic procedures, currently available to them and answer all questions and concerns.
Book a consultation with Dr. Brown to discover how his experience can make a difference for you.
World traveler and world-class plastic surgeon Dr. Brown received his M.D. at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. He interned at the University of California Irvine and then continued his post-M.D. studies in otolaryngology (ENT surgery) at Cornell University and his plastic surgery studies at Columbia University in New York City. Upon completion of these studies, he became board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He then moved to Liberia in West Africa where he was a visiting professor of plastic surgery at the University of Liberia. Following that experience, he moved to San Francisco where he established a successful cosmetic plastic surgery practice at California Pacific Medical Center (the largest private hospital in northern California) for over 30 years.
In 2014 he and his wife left San Francisco and proceeded to sail around the world. During this time he continued to work as a plastic surgeon doing pro-bono work in many of the south pacific islands such as Fiji, Tonga, Cook Islands, and Vanuatu. He spent several years in Auckland New Zealand working in Middlemore Hospital, the largest plastic surgery teaching center in the country.
Upon completing his around the world sailing adventure he returned to the U.S. where he joined the PHASE Plastic Surgery group. His interest in facial surgery reflects his extensive training in both ENT and plastic surgery.
His goal with all surgery is to achieve a natural result and avoid the excessively over-operated look.
Body contouring or body sculpting procedures, including tummy tucks and liposuction, are considered when diet and exercise aren't enough.
It is well known that attractive breasts contribute to a woman's sense of femininity, attractiveness, and well-being. For this reason, breast surgery (boob jobs) including implants, augmentation, reduction, lifting (mastopexy), and reconstruction is the largest single category of plastic surgery.
Sometimes a surgical procedure will give the best results, other times non-surgical options work well, and often a combination is better still. By offering state-of-the-art technologies as well as the latest surgical techniques, we are able to provide a comprehensive approach to aesthetic rejuvenation.
My emphasis with all facial procedures, either eyelid lifting, facelift, nose or ear surgery, is a natural look, using state-of-the-art techniques and an artistic perspective.
“I have nothing but praise for Dr. Donald Brown, which is why he has been my plastic surgeon for 30 years. He did my first face lift 15 years ago in San Francisco. I followed his travels after he left San Francisco to sail around the world and was delighted to learn that he was resuming his practice in the Seattle area. I was happy to fly from New York to Seattle to have another face lift. I am thrilled that I did as my surgical result is fabulous. He is meticulous, artistic, and professional. I would not dream of seeing anyone else."
