It is well known that attractive breasts contribute to a woman's sense of femininity, attractiveness, and well-being. For this reason, breast surgery (boob jobs) including implants, augmentation, reduction, lifting (mastopexy), and reconstruction is the largest single category of plastic surgery.

Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation has become one of the most popular plastic surgical operations today with a variety of different procedures, incisions and implants available. Dr.Brown’s extensive experience in breast augmentation can help you determine which procedure, incision and implant will obtain the desired breast shape, fullness and volume.

Breast Reduction
Women with very large, pendulous breasts may experience a variety of medical problems caused by the excessive weight-from back and neck pain and skin irritation to skeletal deformities and breathing problems.

Despite improvements in techniques and breast implant technology, problems occasionally occur. Often they are a creative challenge to solve, but I have had success with techniques developed especially for treating certain issues.

Gynecomastia
Men with gynecomastia (overdeveloped breasts) may benefit from male breast reduction surgery. The procedure removes excess fat and/or glandular tissue and sometimes excess skin from the breasts so that the chest has a more masculine contour. The best candidates for surgery are men with firm elastic skin.

Breast Lift
A breast lift is called a mastopexy (masto- for breast, -pexy for lift.) It is usually done for women who have had breast enlargement with pregnancy and then lose breast volume afterward, or as a result of weight loss or age.

Mastopexy w/ Augmentation
This is an operation that lifts breast to a higher position on the chest wall while simultaneously improving breast shape and increasing breast volume. It removes excess skin that may be making the breasts appear droopy.
